Information We Collect

When you submit a lead form on PennyCheck, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • ZIP code
  • Service details relevant to your cost estimate

We also collect standard analytics data (pages visited, time on site) through privacy-first analytics that do not use tracking cookies.

How We Use Your Information

  • Lead routing: We share your contact information with relevant service professionals so they can provide you with quotes.
  • Improving our tools: We use aggregated, anonymized data to improve calculator accuracy.

Who We Share Data With

We share your lead form submissions with service professionals matched to your request. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or third-party marketers.

Data Retention

We retain lead form data for up to 12 months, then delete it.

Your Rights

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Delete: Request deletion of your data at any time.
  • Opt out: Opt out of future communications at any time.

Embedded Widgets

PennyCheck tools can be embedded on third-party websites via iframe. When you use an embedded tool, your calculator inputs are processed client-side in your browser. If you submit a lead form within an embed, that data is sent to PennyCheck and handled per this policy.

API Usage

Our computation API (/api/v1/) processes calculator inputs server-side and returns results. We log API requests (tool used, inputs, timestamp) for rate limiting and service improvement. API requests do not require authentication and do not contain personal information unless you include it in the inputs.

Cookies

This site does not use tracking cookies. We do not use third-party analytics that set cookies. Future display advertising may set cookies per the ad network's privacy policy — we will update this section before enabling ads.

California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.

We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
